The idea of a new dog park at the site of the undeveloped Henshaw Avenue park got mixed reactions from the Chico Area Recreation and Park District board Thursday night.
Several board members saw problems with the idea, but asked for further discussion, including talking with the neighbors, none of whom attended the meeting.
“I am opposed to any dog park not fenced,” said Director Ed Seagle.
Director Tom Lando wondered about neighbors’ reaction if dog owners were there with their pets at 6 a.m.
